'Stretton Strikes'
Coys International Historic Festival, Silverstone, 27 July, 1997.
Having lost to Willie Green, who won in wet conditions the day before driving Carlos Monteverdi's Alfa Romeo 158 (41), Martin Stretton reverses the tables in Simon Bull's Maserati 4CM (32) to win both this second race and the event for Pre-1952 GP cars overall on combined results. Both these fine drivers and their stunning historic racing cars are depicted heading up to Priory, with Luffield in the background
